Reflection

Important:
The purpose of this assignment is for you to reflect on your own habits, good and bad. Those who look within to solve their problems and take responsibility for their own actions are the ones who grow and move forward in life.

Directions:
Write a reflection on your habits in math class. It MUST be at least 1 full page, font size 12, Times New Roman font, normal margins, and single spaced. No shortcuts!
Answers to the following questions should be found in the reflection:
Did you take accurate notes?
Did you study your notes?
Did you use your notes to help you with completing the assignments?
Did you put forth 100% effort on every assignment problem and check your answers?
Did you do all of your assignments on time?
Do you hold yourself accountable for getting work done or do your parents need to do it for you? You should be working on having your parents not have to worry about you getting your work done.
If you were absent, did you email the teacher and ask for the materials that you missed?
If you were absent, did you have questions for the teacher when you returned?
Did you ask for help when you needed it during class?
How often did you ask for help outside of class?
Did you study for the quizzes and test? How did you study?
How organized were you without anybody else having to check? Why is being organized important?
How often did you look at the gradebook to make sure all of your work is turned in?
How much time do you spend doing school work at home?
What have you learned about time-management this year? In other words, what do you need to do to ensure that all of your academic work is completed on time?
Did you simply try remembering procedures or did you put forth the effort to understand concepts in depth and make connections?
What habits do you believe have served you well in your learning?
What bad habits do you have and what will you do to correct them?
How have you grown as a self-learner? In other words, students can only learn when they have a desire to learn. If you want to master something, no one can plant the knowledge in your head. You must take the initiative to put forth the time and effort to think critically, ask questions, and learn from your mistakes.
How can you become a better self-learner?
