Materials Needed:
Note: All materials can be found near the classroom entrance. Make sure to put everything back at the end of the period.
1. White paper
2. Pencil
3. Ruler
Directions:
Find the center of your paper. This will be the origin as seen in the tutorial video below. Use the 1 inch mark on the ruler. All of the triangles should be RIGHT TRIANGLES with a leg that is one inch long. Once you understand the pattern you can easily construct the whole spiral. The mathematical pattern is quite interesting, but you do not have to write the numbers for the lengths of the sides of the triangles. See the examples below and the ones posted on the wall.
